I've been obsessed with the idea of having a bob since this past summer. Nevermind that I had a bob 6 years ago and that I've been patiently growing my hair ever since... because a bob simply didn't suit me that much. So two days ago, I finally had my hair cut and, of course, I didn't like it that much. My front hair was a long swept-aside bang and I thought it looked funny, so yesterday morning, I decided to cut myself a real bang, even though I know full well that bangs don't suit me. Then at 1h25 am this morning, I decided to layer my bob. So now I'm stuck with a too short bang and an uneven bob.
I always do that! I don't know why, but I always do. I get obsessed with my hair, and start cutting it myself.
So after washing my hair today, I tried to do my hair in different styles, hated them all, and now I have to start the new year with that stupid hairdo.
Thank God for hats! And luckily for me, hats do suit my face and I own a few ones. So I'll wear hats for the next two or three months.

Well, at least you can wear hats. When I got my hair cut way too short last year I had no place to hide it. Hats aren't my friend. Tear. But, you know what, the short hair was a good thing in the long run. Made me focus on and emphasize my other good qualities. So, hang it there. Besides, I'm sure it doesn't look as bad as you think.
You're sure it doesn't look as bad as I think? That's generous of you. But when I told my mom that I cut my hair in a bob with bangs, she said: "Not bangs! Are you serious? YOU LOOK AWWWWWWFUUUUULLL WITH BANGS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Sadly, I'm not kidding. But hey, at least I can say that I started the year with a BANG! LOL!
I love bobs too, and I got a longish bob last summer and I liked it, but a lot of maintenence when you have curly hair! One thing you can do with your bangs, is just twist them, pull them back and pin them..it's like the "in" thing to do right now when you grow them out, instead of clipping them to the side. Also, before you pin them..you could even make a "bump" in the hair so it's kinda faux-hawkish..people like gwen stefani do that a lot..I kept trying to find pictures online but couldn't, haha. Also..headbands are the best..small, little whatever. I really like the scarves used as a headband, and then the extra fabric lays on your shoulder, so cute!

I tried to pin my bang on the top of my head, but it's kind of too short and the hair sticks up. It looks weird. But hey! In a few weeks it will be longer already. I tried different looks and I found a few that were not that bad. It's just, I don't feel that it's me, you know what I mean?
