I'm back!
Hi guys! I'm back!
Since the few weeks that I posted, I've worked, worked, worked and winter has finally laid her white coat on Montreal. And let me tell you... she came down hard on us. We've been freezing our asses off for about three weeks, but in the past three days, it's gotten warmer.
But anyway, I don't have much to say tonight, so I'll go read some of the blogs I've been missing instead.

Well well. Lookie who's back! I shudder to think what a winter in Montreal would be like...though if it's just snow laying on the ground I could handle that. Let me tell you that ice storms are NO fun! Even though all the ice looks pretty on the trees.

Don't even mention ice storms to Quebeckers! We had a huge one about 10 years ago and the ice on the power lines caused many lines to break. I was living close to downtown Montreal back then and I was without power for 1h30 one day and 4 hours three days later. But hundreds of thousands of Quebeckers were without power for days and even for weeks! And it was February!
In the region where I live now, they didn't have electricity for three weeks! Some people slept in school gymnasiums, some without access to showers. You can imagine how it must have smell in there.
People were fed up, but with so many power lines dammaged throughout the province, the power compagny was just overwhelmed.
