Life and Death

The universe works in mysterious ways. Last night, I received two big news in the space of just a few hours. First, one of my dearest friend, who happens to be an ex-boyfriend of mine, called to tell me that his mom had passed away. About two hours later, another friend called to tell me that his son and daughter-in-law just were at the hospital, having their baby.

As one life ends, another one begins. That's the cycle of life. No one escapes it. We can only hope to have enough time on this earth to grow as persons, learn life lessons and become better human beings more and more every year.

My friend's mom passed away at 80 years old. She had a good life. She was a very generous and devoted mother. I've always liked her and I know that she will be missed.

Yvette, may your soul lives on. You were a funny lady. Wherever you are, I'm sure you still kick ass!

It really does seem to work that way. I'm glad the person who died had a long life, and I'm sure she is at peace in whatever she may be doing (I believe in reincarnation personally). :)

I'm not too sure what I believe when it comes to reincarnation. I don't "Don't" believe it, but I never really stop to think about it. My general belief when it comes to those things (unexplained things; supernatural things; spiritual things...) is usually "Hey! Anything is possible!"

Yes I remember you! I was hoping you'd come back around at some time. Are you gonna start blogging again? Hope all is well.
